Indian Head Massage/Reflexology/Reiki can offer a quick and pleasant way of improving staff productivity, efficiency and alertness. Reducing stress levels within the working environment can greatly minimise anxiety related illnesses.

I believe that by making such a service available to staff on a weekly basis it would greatly help to relieve the most common work related ailments, such as tension headaches, stiff neck and shoulders, back pain, etc, to mention but a few. It has proven to be quite instrumental in ensuring staff loyalty and retention, as a staff member who believes their employer cares about their well being is more likely to stay in their post and carry out their work duties with enthusiasm and dedication and as a result is less likely to be absent from work with health problems.

I have been providing therapeutic services (massage, reflexology, Indian head massage) for BBC Magazines for over 3 years (the service being provided there for the past 13 years).


The staff have the opportunity to book a session with Serenity & Balance regularly once a week and are allowed this time away from their desks (e.g. half hour sessions).

The feedback from the staff is absolutely astounding and as you can imagine from the length of time it has been running it is readily endorsed by the Management Level of BBC Magazines.

The Company's attitude to looking after the well being of their staff has the knock on effect of the staff feeling much more valued (great for staff loyalty!) and also resulting in much less time off sick!
